Buddle Findlay is pleased to have advised Rabobank, as lender and sustainability coordinator, in relation to the upsizing of its green loan facility provided to the New Zealand Carbon Farming Group (NZCF), one of the largest contributors to New Zealand’s climate change efforts.
Adam Thumath and Regan Kerr of Rabobank - "We are privileged to be able to provide continued support to NZCF. Rabobank is committed to all aspects of New Zealand's farming and agricultural economy, including food production to meet the demands of a growing global population, and carbon farming in support of NZ’s domestic and international climate change obligations. This was a complex transaction for Rabobank, so we were pleased to have the support and guidance of Buddle Findlay."
The Buddle Findlay team was led by partner Daniel Collins and senior solicitor Joshua Ioelu. Dominic Toomey led the Simpson Grierson team acting for NZCF.
