Buddle Findlay is pleased to have advised Stabicraft Marine in relation to its 35.9% investment from Simplicity's Private Equity Fund. Founded in 1987, Stabicraft Marine is one of New Zealand's leading boat manufacturers, known worldwide for its design and manufacture of aluminium boats. Stabicraft has been looking to expand internationally for some time, building on its strong presence in New Zealand and Australia. Simplicity's investment will provide a strong foundation for these ambitious plans.
Stabicraft's founder Paul Adams shared his enthusiasm about the new partnership, saying, “we’re excited to have a New Zealand owned private equity shareholder like Simplicity onboard to continue the Stabicraft legacy. We’re really looking forward to building on our success.”
