Buddle Findlay's Stephen Whittington, Brannavan Gnanalingam, and Anna Muru Paenga are very proud to have acted for the Ministry of Health, Waitemata DHB, and Auckland DHB in negotiating a development agreement and long-term arrangements for medical and social detox facilities at the new Auckland City Mission HomeGround facility.
The building is described by Radio New Zealand as a "one-stop shop for health and social services for [Auckland's] most vulnerable people. The purpose-built, nine-storey building has a health centre, a pharmacy, a community dining room, specialist detox services and apartments."
Brannavan notes that "Buddle Findlay is grateful to have assisted in this crucial project. As the demand on Auckland City Mission's services continues to increase, we hope that HomeGround can have an ongoing and significant community impact."
