We are delighted to announce that Peter Chemis is the 2017 Managing Partner of the Year (greater than 100 lawyers).
During Peter's tenure as national chairman he led the firm astutely and with significant skill and care through some challenging times such as the global financial crisis and the Christchurch earthquakes. He helped the firm reshape its business model to ensure that Buddle Findlay's teams of specialist lawyers are agile, responsive and bring a national perspective to clients' issues.
He also helped to drive a number of successful initiatives to promote collaboration across our three offices and further entrench a one-firm culture and a very strong client service ethos.
The New Zealand Law Awards ceremony was held on Thursday 23 November 2017 at the Cordis Hotel, Auckland (previously the Langham Hotel).
