Further to the Government’s recent announcements regarding the introduction of a fast-track consenting process in response to the COVID-19 crisis, on Tuesday 12 May it released a Cabinet paper on the proposed COVID-19 Recovery (Fast-track Consenting) Bill. The Cabinet paper seeks approval to develop the Bill and provides further details about the proposed fast-track process.
