Buddle Findlay is a key sponsor of the Halberg Foundation and we are excited to announce and congratulate the winner of the 61st Halberg Awards – Buddle Findlay Coach of the Year to Gordon Walker (coach of Dame Lisa Carrington and the national kayak squad). The Buddle Findlay Coach of the Year Award was presented by last year's winner, Sir Wayne Smith and Buddle Findlay's national chair, Jennifer Caldwell.
Halberg is the nation's pre-eminent event to honour and celebrate sporting achievements by New Zealand athletes, teams and coaches. The awards were announced at a gala dinner at Spark Arena in Tāmaki Makaurau last night.
