Buddle Findlay partner, Hak Jun Lee, was recently appointed as an honorary legal advisor to the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in New Zealand.
Hak Jun joined the firm as a partner in the Asia business practice in early 2023. He specialises in commercial property, overseas investment and banking and finance and provides general advice to corporate clients. Originally from Korea, Hak Jun has in depth knowledge of, and strong connections in, the Asia business market. He regularly acts for international and corporate clients from Korea and the Asia pacific region on cross-border transactions and investment to New Zealand.
In his new role with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in New Zealand, he will work with the Korean Embassy to support Korean companies and investors to enter the New Zealand market and to provide legal guidance for their operations in New Zealand.
