We are pleased to announce the appointment of three new senior associates in our Auckland and Wellington offices.
In Wellington, Jessica Heyes rejoins the public law team specialising in competition, consumer, and public and administrative law. Jessica returns after spending several years working in the commercial and regulatory division at Minter Ellison in Melbourne.
In Auckland, Amanda Fernandez rejoins the banking and financial services team specialising in corporate, project, acquisition and property finance transactions. Amanda returns to Buddle Findlay after working in the banking and finance teams at Linklaters in Frankfurt and international law firms based in Sydney. Prior to leaving New Zealand, Amanda also completed a secondment at GE Capital. Sarah McEwan joins the corporate and commercial team specialising in corporate and securities law with a particular interest in capital markets and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Buddle Findlay, Sarah worked as a transaction director in the capital markets and loan execution team of one of New Zealand’s largest banks.
