Buddle Findlay senior associate, Shaun Brookes, spoke to Mike Hosking from Newstalk ZB about the issue, stating that regardless of the outcome of the vote, employers would still be able to make their own rules around being intoxicated in the workplace. Shaun explains that many organisations will already have policies in place around the use of alcohol, cannabis and other drugs in the workplace that won't need too much in the way of amendments.
