Eleanor specialises in civil litigation and employment.
She has appeared as counsel in the District and High Courts and in the Employment Relations Authority on a wide range of issues. Eleanor has also assisted clients with alternative dispute resolution including negotiations, mediations and judicial settlement conferences.
Eleanor's civil practice includes insurance issues, insolvency matters and a variety of general commercial litigation. She has also assisted local government clients with regulatory matters.
Eleanor's employment practice involves regularly advising a variety of clients (from small businesses through to national corporates and Government departments) on the full spectrum of employment matters, including successful onboarding of new staff, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements, personal grievances, restructuring, dismissals, and investigations. Eleanor also advises clients in respect of health and safety matters and has experience assisting with health and safety investigations and WorkSafe prosecutions.
