Miriam specialises in banking and finance.
Prior to re-joining Buddle Findlay in 2013, Miriam was transaction director at an international capital management company focusing primarily on portfolio acquisitions, structured finance, mezzanine finance and property development.
Miriam spent three years in the global loans and restructuring team at Allen & Overy in London followed by five years in the structured finance team at Lehman Brothers in London, including several years assisting the administrators of Lehman Brothers in working out Lehman's residential mortgage positions.
Miriam has legal and commercial expertise in securitisation, property financing, asset sale and purchase, restructuring, acquisition financing and warehouse financing. She has also advised lenders on cross-border lending and project finance transactions.
