Profile

Terence specialises in banking and finance, corporate and commercial, and property law.

Terence advises on a broad range of international and domestic financing transactions, and represents banks, corporates, and other financial institutions.  His experience lies in property finance, acquisition finance, general commercial and business banking and security enforcement.

Terence advises both domestic and offshore (China, Singapore, Japan, Korea, and Malaysia) clients in corporate and commercial law with considerable experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, governance, and shareholding arrangements.  Terence has assisted overseas clients to obtain consent under the Overseas Investment Act in New Zealand.

Terence also advises on a range of property transactions.  He has acted for clients in numerous acquisitions (including residential and business park development sites, existing commercial buildings, forestry land and hotel acquisitions) and divestments.

Terence is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin and co-leads the firm's Asia business practice.
